Lake Badovc

Jazhinca Lake
Jazhincë Lake is a mountain lake in Kosovo, found in the eastern part of the Sharr Mountains. The elevation of this lake is 2’180 m/alt. Hiking to Jazhinca lake, it’s an easy and very beautiful daily hiking trip. Most of the hike is going through forests. This is a glacial lake, so it’s a very cold one. However, you can try to swim there! The heart-shape is visible from a rock around 50 m above the lake, where the rock covers a part of the lake. This trail is beautiful during all the seasons, especially in early summer. There are a lot of water sources all the way up, so take around 1 liter of water.
Vasileva Lake (Liqeni i Vasilevës)
Is a beautiful natural attraction located in the municipality of Viti (Vitina) in eastern Kosovo. It is a man-made lake formed by the construction of the Vasileva Dam on the Vardar River. Vasileva Lake spans across an area of approximately 13 square kilometers and is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, including rolling hills and dense forests. The tranquil waters of the lake offer a serene ambiance, making it a popular spot for relaxation, picnicking, and enjoying nature. The lake is also an ideal location for fishing enthusiasts, as it is home to various fish species, including carp, pike, and catfish. Fishing permits are available for those interested in angling in the lake's waters.
